Intensive English Program

What?

The intesive language courses for international students cover all language skills, at four levels of proficiency, as well as American culture and American literature. The lowest level of language training is high-beginning. The highest level of intensive training is high-intermediate.

The courses below high-intermediate are not for academic credit, but the hours taken at these levels count toward a student's full-time status required by the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service.

Classes at the high-intermediate level are for academic credit. Qualified students at the high-intermediate level may also take a maximum of 3 undergrauate credits in an academic program. The advanced level is non-intensive and also offers undergraduate academic credit.
